MPT Payout Table

 

How this works:

1. Separate the Green Fees and MPT $$$ ($5Pro/$3Adv/$2 Int and Rec) from the payouts.

2. Determine the number of places paid per division. (total division size divided by 3.) If a remainder exists, pay out 1 more spot.

3. Using the table, take the TOTAL division purse and multiply it by the percentage shown. Round to the nearest dollar, or five. Repeat using the TOTAL purse as the multiplier for each place paid.

 

Example:

Advanced has 13 players.

After Green Fees and $3 per person for the MPT $$$, the total purse is $195.

13 divided by 3 is 4.33333. Number of places paid will be 5.

Using the table, locate 5 going ACROSS the columns.

Following down the column:

1st place would receive .360 x $195 = $70.20, or simply $70.

2nd place would receive .245 x $195 = $47.78, or $48.

3rd place would receive .170 x $195 = $33.17, or $33

4th place .125 x $195 = $24.36, or $24

and 5th place .100 x $195 = $19.50, or $20
